the short version of a long story

it started with a saturday evening

ahmedabad. 7pm. a friend had a dinner party. nothing fancy, just people and good food. but she couldn't find anything to wear. not because her wardrobe was empty. because nothing felt right.

she spent two hours scrolling. four different apps. fifteen tabs. added things to cart. removed them. found something she liked — delivery in 6 days. she wore an old black top and a jean. beautiful, but she'd worn it a hundred times.

that night we thought: why is this so hard?

(that was me. and my bestfriend)

the thing nobody talks about

shopping for clothes today is loud. not just the prices or the ads. the noise. the endless "you might also like". the push notifications. the emails that say "your cart misses you" (it doesn't. it's a cart).

and underneath all that noise — a quiet frustration.

you just want something that feels like you. not what's trending. not what an algorithm thinks you should buy because someone else bought it. something that fits your tuesday morning, your saturday night, your "i have nothing to wear" panic at 6pm.

so we built a different kind of machine

not a big, cold algorithm that treats everyone the same. a quiet one. one that watches what you actually reach for. your colours. your cuts. the way you dress when you're feeling bold versus when you're feeling soft.

and then it finds pieces — from brands you already love, and from new ones you haven't discovered yet — and it brings them to one place. no shouting. no "buy now or lose it forever". just: hey, we thought you might like this.

and then we made it fast

because waiting is the worst part. you found something you love. you paid for it. now you wait. and wait. and check the tracking number three times a day.

we didn't want that. so we built local fulfilment in Mumbai. delivery in minutes for all things. not because we're trying to break a record. because we remember what it felt like to want something now.

returns? easy.

sometimes something doesn't feel right on your body. different lighting. different mirror. different mood. that's okay.

returns are simple. no jumping through hoops. no "please print this form and wait 72 hours for a response". just: not for you? send it back. we'll figure it out.

who's actually doing this?

a small team in Mumbai. designers, developers, curious people who love fashion but hate what shopping has become. we're not a giant corporation. we don't have a fancy headquarters with glass walls.

we have laptops. good coffee. and a belief that shopping should feel like talking to a friend who gets you. and a group chat that's equal parts work and memes. we argue about colour palettes. we get excited about small brands nobody's heard of yet. we drink too much chai.

and we really, really mean it when we say: we built this for you.

a few things we believe

  • fashion should feel like an extension of you, not a costume you're supposed to wear.

  • discovery shouldn't feel like work.

  • your time is more valuable than a discount code.

  • a human should answer your email. always.

  • waiting is overrated.

so that's the story

not a hero's journey. not a dramatic pivot. just a group of people who saw something broken and tried to fix it, quietly, one outfit at a time.

we're launching soon in Mumbai. if any of this made you nod your head, we'd love to have you with us.

if you have a question. or an idea. or you just want to tell us about a brand we should know

we read everything. we reply to everything. even if you're just saying "i like what you're doing, keep going."

especially then.
